"Welcome designers and observers to project designer Cycle 6. It takes a keen eye and great taste to keep the rich and famous looking fabulous—which is why gifted designers can become just as paparazzi-worthy as their clientele. Now that I'm on the prowl for "the" new look, 14 hopefuls will get a shot showing off their fashion chops and "kick- starting" their career."

Challenge Reminder: Each designer can choose ONE (at a time, no mad rush like with the Barbies) to build an outfit around. The outfit must not merely complement or "go with" the accessory, but must INCORPORATE IT as part of a single thought. The outfit and the accessory must look as though they were made to be together.
Leave a comment of the one you want. The first designer who picks the item will get it, so check comments to see if your item has been selected. If so, pick another. I want to see some BOLD design, and interesting colors.

Challenge Reminder: Congrats, again! Your model has been chosen as the new covergirl for Vogue! Since she's your muse, you'll be designing a one of a kind cocktail dress or a gown for her to wear to the annual Vogue dinner that will unveil her new cover. The back should be just a fabulous as the front, so you will have to draw the back. The back can be sketchy if you don't have enough time. Even though this is a cocktail dress or gown, please put your personal style into the dress! We will be judging this very strictly!

Challenge Reminder: Dahlings, it's summer, and it's getting hot! So for your next challenge, you'll be designing outfits for a week in the Alps! It should be be able to function in outside at a ski resort, and inside for the cabin. Remember, you can design outfits not just ski wear. Also, keep in mind function as well as fashion.

Challenge Reminder: Everyone knows not to make these fashion mistakes...but everyday someone does. Your next challenge is to design an outfit that is based around a fashion faux pas that I will assign to you. These things rarely work on people, and it's your job to make them work.

Challenge Reminder:  Congrats, dahlings! Your next challenge is to design a party outfit for your model for P.Diddy's White Party in the Hamptons! (everything your model wears must be white from head to toe! Including the accessories!) The outfit you design must be inspired by your model's nationality. This is to test your styling and innovation...you're all using one color, so make sure to stand out! (And don't look slutty!)

Challenge Reminder:  Your next challenge is to design a completely new outfit using the clothing that the person that you choose here has. This challenge, not only will you pick a model, but you will also pick an outfit, and you have to use the materials of that outfit(including the patterns and colors present) to create your new design. The winner of the last challenge gets to pick his or her outfit first, and then the next person who gets here can pick. if the outfit you wants gets picked, then choose another and leave it as a comment ON THIS JOURNAL! Be realistic. You cant use a shirt to make a gown, and you can't use a ribbon to make a coat, so choose wisely. You don't have to use everything in the outfit, but a majority of it! If you have ANY questions, comment on this journal so everyone can see.

Challenge Reminder: For your first challenge you will be designing couture and (regular...like Hanes) underwear - The theme for this challenge is to satisfy your sugar craving. They should be two seperate designs, but on the same sheet of paper, and they should seem like they could be seen together. Design inspired by sweet treats! Think of it as if you are doing a high class advertisements for sweet stuff, and your design is one of the selling points of the advertisement, so it has to reflect your candy treat. Think Lollipops, bonbons, licorice, donuts, hard candies, soft ones, chocolate or anything, gooey, syrupy, or sugar filled. I will assign you your treat, and that shall be your inspiration for the challenge. Both designs must use this inspiration.
